I am wondering what other managers consider to be part of their ever greatest player dealing's. Mine are

Greatest mistake: Selling a young Dejan Stankovic for a pittance after newing him because I thought he was a clumsy player who would not make it. Silly me.

Greatest cheap signing: I have 2. Juan Riquelme & Marc Vivien Foe. Both cost £2M apiece.

Greatest newing of a player: Again 2. Karim Benzema and Fabio Coentrao.

Greatest loss: Marc Vivien Foe.

Greatest sale: Juan Veron to Dan at Plymouth for £35M (Still laughing at that one Dan, sorry).

Greatest bargain at your current club: For me it is Mauricio Isla - £1M (thanks Rob).

Greatest white elephant:.........To many to mention

My greatest signinig for Chelsea in game 4 was Frank Lampard a then 9488 eventually moving up to a 9999, Also when i signed Marco Negri for Everton for 15m think he was a 9595 and he bagged a hat-trick in the last game of the season to avoid relegation.

My deal for Guti will go down in forum folklore(shut it Stu....Kallstrom) I can't really remember much else as i rarely new players but Stu did tip me off about Hulk who is starting to put the ball in the onion bag nicely now (cheers stu Very Happy )

Thinking about it my greatest bargain was down to you Martin with my deal for Srna

No worries Martin, Veron actually did pretty well for me over a number of seasons and I'm sure I'd have got some of that cash back when I sold him so I don't regret spending money on him at all. £35m is a decent fee but it's much harder to find top talent available to play for English clubs. I would do the same deal again today in hindsight with what I got from him.

One of my greatest mistakes was not bidding for a very young David Beckham when he was on the transfer list for about £1.4m. I didn't really rate him then. I was wrong. Recently I'm beginning to think letting Tevez go could have been a big mistake. Having Rooney in my team I didn't need Tevez but I believe he's caught a bout of ManCityitis and is ridiculously highly skilled in the game now (sorry Phil, just stating an opinion. He is still a great player obviously but I would say he's a tad overrated in CF). I hope that won't bite me in the ass over the coming years. I could have built a team around Kinkladze if I'd had the foresight to see how overrated he'd become in CF.

Greatest signings: I've lots but very few were cheap: Shearer, Crespo, Gerrard, Rooney, Bergkamp and Reina spring to mind. Giggs and Ashley Cole (when he was very very young) were pretty cheap I think.

Best Newings: Again lots. I introduced the infamous Kinkladze (as a BW!) but sold him pretty cheaply. Muzzy Izzet was one of mine. I'm sure there are many others too.

Greatest Sale: Easy - Michael Owen for 50m and Milan Baros. I do feel that losing Owen when I did may have had an impact in my not winning the league that season though. Martin was it you who offered something like 30m for Glen Johnson a while back (before his Liverpool move) too? Didn't take that up cos there aren't many decent RBs in the English league but that would have been up there in cash terms too.

Greatest current bargain: Probably Ashley Cole again.

biggest mistakes: sellling David Pizarro. i've never been able to replace him at playmaker. i think i may have this week though! swapping Adriano for Marco Borriello has to rank as a massive gaffe. I got rid of him as he was looking like he was going to retire for good, seems to have got his career back on track so Gaz got a good deal their. Also, I shouldn't have sold Jonny Heitinga to Colin because by my reckoning i'd have him at 9999 right now.

greatest deals: signing Marco Motta for 150k, selling for 15m. signing Miralem Pjanic for 2.5m and selling for 14m. Gianluigi Buffon signed for 11m. signing Lorenzo De Silvestri for 6m and selling for 25m. signing Daniele Galloppa for 150k and selling for 14m. singing Juan for 5m and selling for 17m. most of my good deals are from where i've made a decent return.

greatest bargain: of my current squad, probably Juan for 5m and Mirko Vucinic for 8m both have been pretty instrumental. i'd say that Francesco Totti last year was a great buy for 3m aswell.

Phil it was for 50m + Baros, not Bastos. But yeah it was a crazy deal. Sadly I can't claim much credit for it, it was simply offered to me and I just did the easy thing (said yes!) Having said that, the cash from that deal is still in the bank and has been burning a hole in my pocket for a long time now. Relatively few players go for cash these days. As I've said many times before, cash isn't worth as much in the game anymore, there's too much cash floating about in the game. If anyone wants to help me spend my cash please send me your top players or those with great potential via PM. Cheers.

bargin: Messi must be top although iniesta would be close

best deal: mascherano in for robinho, generally for the postion he played.

Fabregas for Nasri, Babel and del horno and 10m I think,

Again for position piqué for robben (although when fit I think robben is in the top 3 players in the world)

No regrets but I probably did not have to swap casillas for cech, brought Pablo for silly money of Jamie many years ago and maybe swapped eto a year or so to early.

Well in 2 seasons, there's not much to choose from

Best bits of business..

In - Kewell, £2.5m - from Lazio
In - Bougherra 250,000 - From NL
In - Scott Dann 500,000 - from Walsall
In - Guti (Chievo) £3m - from Deportivo
In - Begovic - £2m - from Wigan
In - David Dunn - £1m from West Ham

Out - Dann - £12m to Birmingham
Out - Begovic - £11m to Man Utd
Out - Guti - £23m to Cremonese

Worst mistake spending £10m on Franco Di Santo. Could have been used better elsewhere.

Best signings : Mario Balotelli and Davide Santon for £150k each or Andrea Ranocchia and Fabio Quagliarella for £250k each. Julio Cesar for £10m, Andre Santos for £2m and Ramires for £5m were pretty special too. Also Abel Hernandez for £1m .... watch this space, he's better than Balotelli.

Best deal : Samuel Eto'o and £16m for Edin Dzeko.

Worst signings : Almost everyone in my first season at Inter.

Player I shouldn't have sold : Probably Balotelli.

White Elephant : Hopefully not Alex Pato or Javier Pastore. Big investments for the future.

Player I owe most to : Enzo Maresca. Built my team around him.

Actually another 2 outsanding bargains for me at Bohemians are Angel Di Maria £6M which seemed a lot at the time, but that deal has borne fruit (once again thanks Rob) and Maarten Stekelenburg £4M from the transfer list.
