to me it seems he is. according to Sven he asked the leicester board when interviewed for the job how much money would be available to strengthen the squad. there response was "how much do you want"? with that he accepted the job. so.....is this a masterstroke or quite possibly another disaster in waiting for a bloke whose reputation has taken a dive to say the least. Ever since he was caught out by the News Of the World when England manager, where he was approached by perisan kings claiming to be buying out aston villa and askig him to be manager, Sven has endured a catalogue of of mis-haps. is this yet another?

footballs in a mess, just been reading the saga that is Liverpool, how can one of ours and Europes biggest and most successful clubs be on the brink of a 9 point deduction for oustanding debts.

Why were Hicks and Gillett allowed to buy the club with funds that were basically 100% loans with no capital investment whatsoever.

As a Notts fan, I have to say I'm quite on the fence about Sven.

He heroically walked away from a debt he knew he'd never get..although he could have pushed the admin button on Notts and didn't.

Although, I know that he could have left earlier, and could have spotted the unfolding web of lies earlier..

I agree with Rob Sven is self interested has had little club success part from with Lazio and is bound to leave shortly

With regards Liverpool it is amazing what has happened with them. Man Utd are in a similar position financially but in their case they keep winning/ have some quality players to sell.

Worrying how all these foreign owners with little long term 'loyalty' are allow to take over clubs. How long will Man City's new owners keep with the club if they don't win anything in the next few seasons?
