Another result for Boca and another clean sheet. They had a few changes this week with players being rested so good work all round at La Bombonera.

Disappointed with a home draw for Nantes, although Paris do look a strong outfit this year.

I'm just struggling to work out why a team with Rooney, Nasri, Robinho, Anelka, Rosicky etc are struggling in front of goal so much, even with Rooney as a TM. At least I remain unbeaten since losing to Newcastle though at the start of the season - too many draws though are hammering me.

Crazy week in Italy. Juve, Roma, Parma all lost so an away draw at Milan looks good for Inter. So Inter move 2nd on goal difference but 3 points separate 8 teams - that's pressure.

Paul - question for later if you have time. Based on some of the comments here and my own frustration with Cavani and Higuain versus Phil's joy with Van Persie and Tevez ........what makes a good strike partnership?

Well, two defeats in a week. But both to the title favourites and seemingly good performances.

So I'll try not to be too knee jerk with it!

I agree - Same here with Robinho and Anelka

I'll do the euro results next that might cheer some of you up, but on the other hand maybe not...

I play a slightly weaker side in cup matches so I'm assuming you'll get more midfield ball as both Cambiasso and Pastore come into the team.

Did think this might be the case, although even so the team you put out in Europe I would expect is greater than the team Everton puts out in the league.

Good win away to Blackburn for my feeder, makes up for the disppointing result in the league. Think that makes Nantes qualified for the next round already?
