Real Madrid are next up with Iain again changing no less than 17 players in his first team, with only Benzema keeping his place following a fine win last week away at Deportivo. Messi makes a return at target man despite only scoring 3 leagues goals in ten games this season and he really needs an extended run in the team to improve his form. His overall goal scoring record is incredible having notched 111 goals in 140starts.

Iain has a good loan policy at the club where he continually loans out his up and coming players and this week sees the promising De Gea likely to join Birmingham on loan.

One question Iain, youve written WB 25k twice on your special actions ? did you mean WB and CB ? let me know if you read this ta.

Thanks for the cheque.

Just so everybody is clear about the new pitch, i did put this in the new pitch thread, but I'll just reinforce it here as well. Yes we will be using the longer pitch this week.

Next up is Jamie at Schalke.

Ahh, we removed the SETWAGE dealing ages ago I'm afraid to tell you, and all contracts must now be resolved individually. This was because of all the variables the system has to take into account for each player, and even players on the same wagebands can have hugely different criteria you need to satisfy before they will sign a new contract. Plus the fact it makes it harder for managers to have huge squads as it takes alot of dealings to renew contracts.

a lot of effort is going into improving Schalke's revenue streams this week but Antonio Cassano does make a comeback on the left wing in place of Mesut Ozil and just like Messi, Cassano too could do with an extended run in the first team to improve his form.

Rich at Birmingham is next up.

Thanks for the combined cheque Rich, much appreciated.

again im afraid you can no longer use the SETWAGE dealing command but in this case i think you meant to use the GIVE command even though youve not included any player reference numbers you have included a name next to each SET dealing so i can process each SET as a GIVE instead.

Looks like De Gea will be joining Birmingham later in the week.

Jerome Boateng makes his debut at rightback this week in the match at home to Manchester United, a crucial game that Birmingham must win as they attempt to escape the clutches of the bottom three. Three points this week would go along way to closing that four point gap on Blackburn and Villa in ninth and eighth as Blackburn have to entertain Villa this week.

Sergio Aguero stays at target man alongside Hernandez but the boss has ordered him to be far greedier this week.

Exciting times at St Andrews for sure. Is this the week that Sergio explodes onto the Premiership scene ?

All change for Birmingham for the cup game against Burnley sees the boss make no less than 14 changes.

But remember you can make as many changes as you like to your cup teams without it affecting them as players always play to their full in cup games.

No changes for Gremio ahead of their match at Santos this week following last weeks strong draw at Palmeiras. But a change in tactics to the MIX formation with Mancini Vagner moving to playmaker.

Always alot going on at Mark's clubs and this week is no exception with new contracts for a couple of top players a few youngsters not making the grade are being offloaded, further investment in revenue streams, and a recall to the starting eleven for Mario Balotelli as Mark decides to switch away from CAT to FAS pressing for the away game at Arsenal. The only other team change sees Hitzisperger bring his long range shooting to the team in place of Dzemaili's tackling skills, a very attackminded change from Mark, who seems to be going for the win.

Four changes in Mark's cup team this week for the game against Middlesbrough, sees El Hamdaoui get a rare start at striker, this'll be his first game for the first team this season even though he has only scored one goal in his seven reserve game starts this season, but 45 goals in 85 career starts seems to suggest he can do it maybe. Mark will find out a bit more about him this week. Dzemaili plays for the cup side in at playmaker this week as they too switch from CAT but not to FAS as they will be playing MIX.

A home game against Palace this week could see Chelsea stretch their lead at the top of the Championship table to as much as eight points and in order to guarantee that Gary has drafted in Ivanovic and Ben Arfa this week to replace Kaboul and Luis Suarez.

That's a huge surprise with Suarez not even on the subs bench for the league match.

Again we see plenty of new contracts being offered at Chelsea including an improved deal for the highy arted youngster Josh McEachran. Whilst a couple of youngsters dont make the grade.

Sampdoria are now unbeaten in their last four league games and the only change this week sees Diarra come in for the suspended Khedira as Sampdoria continue to improve and look to continue their fine recent form in the game away at Lazio.
