Well disappointing result for Plymouth, especially conceding from 2 headers, but I started last season with a loss to Fulham so am not too disheartened, it's a long season after all! Good win for Lyon. A lot of work still to do though!

the first deal is huge as RVP and £25millions leaves Arsenal and moves to Birmingham in exchange for Sergio Aguero, and RVP was superb today as he ripped Man City apart. Also in the same deal Clichy and Bale also switch clubs. So good starts for Arsenal and Birmingham and now they both have important players to bed in.

Not a great start to be quite honest.

Pleased with the response from going down 3-0 so quickly, and with Jamie having a squad of players with fully max-ed skills, I am claiming a moral victory anyway. Doesn't get me any points though.

Disappointed to concede late with Nantes but a difficult away game at Lille was always gonna be tough to win.

Well. two clean sheets. Is I guess at least something. An away point, no disastrous and a solid if unspectacular home win against Villarreal for Betis.

two issues.

1. Betis should be beating Villarreal at home.
2. Leicester should be winning at Leeds.

Although Leicester's away form last year was generally rubbish, so I wont be committing suicide. But... I sense training on monday wont exactly be a light session.
