Just finished my meetings and have a ticket to the Sweden v England game. Can't change my flight so gutted.

Read through everything quickly and a nice 3-0 away win at last season's Champions for Boca was my hi-light. Damiao on the scoresheet for the first time ... the boy may have a future at Inter.

Inter get a 0-0 (unless I missed something) draw at Juve which is never easy. Plus they play SLO which is hard to break down. I can live with that.

Outside of that I see Willian grabbed a goal. He's another like Damiao who I believe has a future in the starting 11 at Inter. And then there's Khedira for the princely sum of £10m. I'm very sad to see Oscar go as I believe he's a potential world beater but with Jovetic, Willian, Di Maria and others I have enough depth. I needed a real world class workhorse in my midfield and Sami has been doing the job for a while and is still only 25. So at a net level Khedira and a £30m profit for Oscar worked for me. Looking forward to seeing the turns.

Don't normally read my reserve reports but the possession stats intrigued me:

The report was quite amusing as I didn't touch the ball until I had kick off for the 2nd half then when we gave it away after 3 touches we didn't see the ball again! Hopefully its a bug in the system otherwise I've some serious issues at Ancona lol!

Im having to get much more in depth with this thing than ever before. My Gynnasium appears to have had a little effect this week, so some more equipment when money allows and hopefully they wont all be the equivalent of Winona Ryder in terms of strength.

Having digested the match report, I have to say I'm happy with a point at Anfield

Gerrard and Merieles are awesome, and all i can think is it's a good job I had Carrick at AM and a couple of DY's that track back cos other wise I'd have been dicked on.

I was dicked on to some extent, but we held our own and more encouragingly Nasri seemed able to control the ball an awful lot better than in previous weeks, which led to more chances.

So, yep. Am happy. Less happy with Betis... less happy with a win than a draw... bizarre in itself. But Celta Vigo are hardly a powerhouse, and they out-created us at home. Without a moment of magic from Ganso and a couple of wonder-saves from Old Man Friedel... we'd have been behind... but that's football!
