obviously a rather good week.

we made a rule that we could only view the match thread from the post office laptop, so we would find out any scores at the same time, hence why neither have been logged on

i dont enjoy post office derby days way too stressful.

nice to keep some cleansheets and get back to winning ways.

have to say after we had submitted our turns we both revealed each others lineups and tactics which kept us deliberting over possible outcomes and how the game may pan out so interested to see the tale of the tape.

Tom losing Lucas in that key midfield area was a blessing for me and although losing Baines was a massive inconvenience especially with his form its not a patch on losing your main man in that midfield battle.

i think home advantage helped aswell.

Just read the match report and seems quite a close game between me and Phil with Lauren Kols. popping up with a 90th minute winner! No complaints though. If only Lauren Kols would pop up more often with a winner in real life...

Great to pick up Marc Bartra though. Am content to think that with a little more game time he has the potential to be a really great player for Barcelona in the next few years!

Fulham next week (not sure I have ever beaten Will so here's to trying yet again) - a massive game in terms of the league!

Having trouble with the printer atm, will have to postpone posting until I can get it fixed, prolly tomorrow. So wont get to the post office maybe until friday, late thursday if i'm lucky.

Finally Robben scores but then gets injured

kinda weird cos if he or the team had failed this week he was getting the boot for next the game.

Looks like the decision has been taking out of my hands.

Very disappointed to lose in Europe but having a quick look at the game stats I think my team gave a good account of themselves away to a very good Inter team with 8 shots on target.

I paid the price for getting my tactics wrong at the start of the group stage and not getting that all important home draw!

Paul - looks like Boca lost Diego Reyes 3928 to Sevilla but this wasn't a deal. I think it was a NEW but he was already at Boca. Could I get him back please? Thanks.

Was thinking about this and could we consider 2-legged games in Europe? The advantage of winning your group would be home advantage for the first game (with the option to change tactics for the second leg depending on what you might need).

Anyone consider this or would this be an option Paul?
