| The Cagliari boss was delighted with his sides goal less draw at home to Inter Milan this week and was quoted as saying "It is a good result when you look at the quality of their team and what they have already achieved but we can improve and we will improve next season".
When asked about Inter's permanent bid for upcoming starlet Daniele Rugani the Cagliari boss said that although Musacchio was an excellent player he had no current plans to sign any Argentines to his team before next season. However if Varane was to become available then a deal could be struck. |

Great timing, but true about Nantes, they are a busy side, busy getting stronger. |

Varane is quite a bit ahead of Rugani and is probably under rated at 99 97 as he's France's 1st choice CB ...... bit never say never. |

A very good week for improving Fulham. What a great week for Fulham. Managed to spend sometime on my turn this week after a holiday. Hope for safety this season. |

| Javi Garcia has moved to Blackburn in a swap deal for Oubina who joins Leicester and he joins another new boy Bojan Krkic who comes into the side in place of Gervinho who joins Atletico Madrid in exchange.
Blackburn just have to win their last 3 games to stand any chance of staying up next season, a tall order one would imagine, as the games are against Man City, Birmingham and Watford, not to be blunt but it looks as though they may have left it a bit late, good time to rebuild for next season in the Championship though. |

| Lol, believe it or not I am hoping for another 3 arrivals at Nantes, I'm hoping Paul is leaving that until the turn arrives though!!
Might be the same for your janmaat deal. |

| Absolutely delighted with Muntari, Greizmann and Kondogbia. Actually trying to plan for next season already, hence the activity over the last few turns. That and the fact my squad was quite thin already. Hopefully not taking my eye off the ball for the run-in. Might clam down now I've brought a few targets in. Probably won't though. |

| A few other deals did go through, amongst them... Inter signed Hojbjerg from Schalke in a swap deal with Chadli. Then sold Henen and Croskery to Wolves. Villa swapped Vanden Borre plus cash for Janmaat of Feyenoord. Hearts grabbed an under-rated Jason Puncheon from Bristol Rovers, nice one Nantes signed Adam Bogdan from Dresden and Thauvin and Payet on trial. |

| Really rate Janmaat. A very solid RB. And as for Jason Puncheon ..... possibly one of the best performing wingers in the Prem last season. |

| Breaking News......
Plymouth and Lyon manager Ben Wilson has come out fighting after this week's results stating that the time of consolidation is over. Wilson who has overseen a number of substantial deals over the past seasons was quoted as saying he has a substantial 'warchest' to strengthen the squads and is seeking to bring in world class players imminently. A number of players such as Podolski, Jovetic and Di Maria are rumoured to be leaving at the end of the season.

| Interesting developments that players aren't gonna be happy just playing in the cup competitions anymore!!
A lot of managers gonna be in trouble with this one, me included..... |

| Paul, looks like I'm on my own here, but this change is gonna cause me massive headaches with my squads I've just managed to build. I was under the impression that cup games would keep players happy as they have done all this season? Seemed to work fine?
Is this a deliberate change? Any particular reason why? |

| Does League out rank all cups and all levels of cups? I think a Hazard or a David Villa or a Messi would accept being rested for a League game before a Champions League game but maybe not a 2nd round cup match. Same for a cup final or semi final maybe. |

Is this a deliberate change? Any particular reason why? I'll look into it before next week, just ignore it for now. Cup games should have the same priority as league games as has been the case for a long time now. I must have changed something accidentally. |
