| Another Braziliant youngster joining the ranks at Bayern is the highly promising Wallace Fortuna, acquired from Cruzeiro for £13.5millions, bayerns scouting network helping to find more hidden talent deep in the Brazilian rainforests ( okay not that well hidden maybe ). |

| Sao Paulo use the influx of cash to build up their backroom facilities, new training centre and gymnasium, and state of the art undersoil heating, to, hopefully, make themselves more competitive next year. |

| French international striker Kevin Gameiro has joined Saint Etienne in exchange for Brazilian international Rafael Sobis further strengthening Sao Paulo's title hopes for the upcoming season. Sobis has one of the best strike rates in world football having scored 100 goals in his 205 competitive games, but only managed 11 for Etienne last season, so he'll be hoping a return to his home country will do him good. |

Will do mate. I predict week 3, after a slow start and a player revolt. |

- Barcelona decided to sell one of the world's best midfielders as Yaya Toure was sold in a swap deal with Nantes's Thiago Alcantara.
Massive decision on this for me, the YAya Toure sports bar won't be the same without him in the Barcelona shirt but it's time for the youngsters like Isco & Koke to have a chance. Lots of possibilities in the Barca midfield and Thiago could be a huge player and has youth on his side. Few more players to move on in the next few weeks to keep the squad happy, watch this space! |

Also sending a printed rulebook to Andy, does Ollie need a rulebook ? |

Ben The sponsor you chose was already sponsoring an english club, you should have had a message though, always best to get a list of offers before choosing a new shirt sponsor. Stadium sponsor doesnt seem to have been processed, so just send me the details again and I'll put them through for you. |

| A couple of late developments, Salomon Rondon has joined Fulham on trial ( SN 8 ) and Phil has been appointed as manager of Racing Genk in Belgium, and after doing such a great job at Lille in previous years I'm fully convinced that Genk wont be languishing at the foot of the Belgian league for much longer, although he has a huge job on his hands there. |

| Okay I think that's the end of a very busy week, very busy indeed, if there are any more queries or outstanding issues you have until the end of today ( friday ) to bring them to my attention, because on saturday I will be resetting everything in preparation for running game 2 next week.
Thanks to you all for another enjoyable week. |

| Don't forget that if the system will train a player based on his LASTPOS not his preferred positions. So if you play somebody at LB that week then the system will train up their skills for the LB position, even if their preferred positions are CFST.
Individual training is very complex these days, and depends on many factors, but you should expect between 1 and 20 skill gains each week, just depends on which coaches you employ and who the player is. The system will try to match the coach to the player's LASTPOS and AREA so if you chose to INDIv train ATT ADEBAYOR and played him at CF its pretty straight forward as the system would try to find a specialist ATT CF coach to train him, but if you played him at DY then the system would look for a specialist ATT DY coach which don't exist in the game so would use an area ATT coach instead, which would reduce the effectiveness of the INDIV training. If no area coach is found then an ALLROUND coach would be used again reducing the number of skills gained, and if no coaches are found you do the training yourself.
Skills gained can be 20, 15, 10, 5 or 1 depending on who is chosen to perform it.
In general utility players ( those players with preferred positions that don't match their category ) train up slower than specialist players when played in one of their utility positions. |

Complicated is right, but makes perfect sense. Another great amendment to the game. Thanks Paul. Will certainly make me look at my staff roster a lot more. |

| Categories
GK lastpos=GK DEF lastpos=LB RB LK RK SW CL CC CR MID lastpos=AM AL AR BW MG PM P2 DY DR DL LH RH ATT lastpos=TM CF ST S2 LW RW
so any player with a LASTPOS that falls outside of these categories will take longer to INDIV train. |
