| Welcome to week 24 of the season, the last week of the season, Playoff finals this week in England and all the end of season processing.
You'd think that two big clubs like Man United and Real Madrid could get a deal done in the alloted window, wouldn't you ? or is it just arrogance on their part and they totally ignore the restrictions everyone else has to abide by ? I've never liked the transfer window or agreed with it's legality or it's usefulness which is why we will never have a transfer window in CF. |

| Absolutely amazing. Its not like the transfer was a surprise, it was always gonna happen all summer long.
What's gonna happen now to De Gea? Top goalkeeper, but obviously fallen out with Van Gaal, can United afford to have him play with the reserves until he moves on a free next summer?
Van Gaal doesn't seem to be one to back down easily. |

| Gotta feel some sympathy for De Gea but he does seem screwed now. |

| Sterling has completed us on the left with Silva moving inside to his best position, not sure about KDB, never liked him much tbh, but we'll see. How about Liverpool, I was very impressed with their opening three games. |

| Yeah, the first three games we looked fairly solid, think that's having full backs that can defend this year. Although when we play at home they are expected to get forward more leaving Lovren and Skrtel exposed and we all know what happens then.....
Yeah the width Sterling has provided, along with Navas, gives Silva much more room to cause havoc. De Bruyne will be an interesting one, seems a lot of money for a player to sit on the bench so perhaps he will be challenging Navas on the right?
Thoughts on Chelsea? Just a blip or the lack of improvement costing them? |

| Real didnt put any sort of bid in till 11am yesterday morning, subsequently pissed about to try and lower the price and then didnt log any paperwork with the Spanish league at all, wasn't even a case that it was late. United have receipts from Fifa's TMS and Premier League to show they did everything within the alloted time. All this should've been sorted months ago but if you don't receive a bid what can you do?
In terms of De Gea if this isnt sorted he'll need to get his head down and get back in the team or he can kiss Euro 2016 goodbye.
City look awesome right now but De Bruyne always struck me as a strange one, needs to be playing or he sulks and runs like at Chelsea. Time as ever will tell. |

| Good old Rafa! lol
Guess it depends on which De Bruyne City are getting, the CHelsea one or the Wolfsburg one. They certainly are two different players... |

| Another thing to consider is Real could still be getting a transfer ban till 2017. |

| Interesting to hear what really happened with De Gea, I assumed it was United messing about to get a better price, sounds like the Madrid president trying to save face again with their supporters. Let's hope a great keeper like De Gea doesn't suffer because of this. |

| Same situation as Barca, can get players in but can't register them to play till the ban ends. Like Turan and Vidal cant play till january, not even in friendly games. Just internationals. |

| If that happens then, guess De Gea will have to knuckle down and try and win the fans over. A few performances like last season and he'll be ok!! Not sure about Van Gaal though... |

| Your thoughts on Martial Rich?
Worthy of his 'most expensive teenager ever' tag, or a calculated panic buy? |

| It is a massive pressure on him, considering he is only 19. Next Henry by all accounts..... |

| Wow. Have a look at Real's statement on the De Gea-United saga with timeline etc. United totally burned and if it's all accurate look like clowns. |

| I wonder if United would have paid £36m for Martial if they'd known the De Gea deal was going to fall through ? Nobody ever says, "Sorry guys it was my fault" do they ? The whole thing makes a mockery of the transfer window really, sooner it goes the better imho. |

Am i the only one who drew parallels between Real's statement and Rafa's "facts" rant |

Chelsea were sniffing round, United had bid rejected beginning of August, Monaco told United they would sell when Valencia beat them in Champions League playoff. Wonder how long till the concept of the transfer window is challenged in court? |

Wonder how long till the concept of the transfer window is challenged in court? There has to be a legal issue on restriction of trade somewhere. Although for those players who are not employed they have a much longer window and there is also a difference between a player being able to earn a wage and a club being able to register a player. It's certainly not a clear cut issue. |

| I know that €10 million of it is if he wins the Ballon D'Or whilst at United and theres alot of top scorer bonuses in there but its a heck of an outlay. |
