It will do.  I haven't got the players to switch formations as I have spent the last two season focusing toward FAS which now doesn't work.

Its a 433 formation, not a 442 one.  DL and DR are there but the player that causes the damage is the DY.  Hence the recent introduction and importance of the BW position in recent weeks.

Many times I've sacrificed a ST in favour of an extra midfielder though - it doesn't have to be 433...

It needs to be a CF though and not a ST.  Which again I haven't build my squad towards.  Have the two best false nines in the Premier League but they don't exist in the game.

This worth a try. Or Andy does a FAS system with AL AR BW I think.  And that seems to work well with no DY, DL or DR. It's the one I really like the look of.
