We have the World Cup final to look forward to this week with current holders Spain taking on Germany in an effort to make it three World Cups in a row, Germany are very strong this year though and may even be very slight favorites against an ageing Spanish side. Good luck to both Geoff and Dave.
In the World Youth Cup we have the young Brazilian side up against a strong Belgium youth side although the Brazilians are strong favorites after beating the Portuguese in the semis. Good luck to both Tom and Bob.
In the Americas today we have the Sud America Cup where Phil's Chile will take on Dave's South Korean team with Chile strong favorites, good luck to both of you.
And finally this week in the world of internationals we have the Afro-Asian Cup final which sees Nigeria taking on a very strong Ivory Coast side, best of luck to Dave and Stacey Kent.

Congratulations to Dave for winning the hugely prestigious World Cup against the previously unbeaten Spaniards, no mean feat, well done to Tom for lifting the World Youth Cup and well done also to Phil for lifting the Copa America with Chile and well done Dave again for steering Nigeria to their first ever trophy.
Thanks to everybody who took part this year because for me as GM it was hugely enjoyable to watch as you tweaked tactics and interchanged your squads to get the best results at the perfect times and thanks for the money you spent this year on the internationals as it's very important to the viability of the game.

Stoke City have been hit with a thirty point penalty because whilst under the management of their previous manager they have been found guilty of match fixing and illegal transfer activity.
League games will kickoff at 1000 hours Wednesday morning...
