Season 29 Week 8 processing...

Welcome to week 8 in what is fast becoming a very close competition in many of the leagues.

We have some interesting games to look forward to this week with Santos at Botafogo the big game in Brazil, Premiership leaders Watford entertain Aston Villa, second placed Charlton are at home to a fast improving Manchester United and Champions Plymouth will look to grab all three points at home to Newcastle. But the game of the day has to be in the Bundesliga where Champions Schalke must travel to Bayern Munich in what is already a must win game for Bayern, this one should be a corker. In Serie A the leaders AC Milan have a really tough trip to Roma to overcame if they are to stay top and show everybody that they are now again capable of winning the title and despite having a six point lead already they do need to win this game. And a huge game in Scotland as leaders Celtic travel to Rangers for the Old Firm derby, can Celtic overcome their arch rivals to make it eight wins on the bounce ? Rangers rattled in five goals last week and are currently unbeaten at Ibrox this season and will be looking to extend that record, another game I'm looking forward to watching.

And if all that wasn't enough we also have match day four of the European competitions to savour in what could be a make or break week for some of you.

Quite a few people not stating contract details on new players this week, so it's worth me re-iterating the rule for that. If you don't state some of the contract details the system will use the default values, which are 88 weeks and a signon fee of £150,000 with a basic wage depending on the players WR.

A good week for me in Europe, which is a surprise since after last round I decided to make 4/5 rotations per squad to ensure remain fresh for league games where some teams suffered fatigue. So very welcoming to win all games! Being on the league games!!
