Big shock as Nantes go out, but still a lot of quality into the semis... Wow, unexpected to be honest but Etienne are a decent side and caused us a few problems previously. Cant win 'em all. Maybe a little complacency setting in...... Good luck to the others, happy with Flu and Charlton getting through. |

| MLS Cup
Harrisburg 1 Cosmos 2 Galaxy 3 Newyork 2 Revolution 0 Giants 2 Chicago 6 ( six ) Atlanta 0
Chicago won this cup in seasons 24 and 27, Cosmos have only ever NOT made the final when Chicago knocked them out last season and have won it no less than ten times so it could go either way... |

| The league cups are all new competitions and when I get time later I'll go through and review how the new cups went and whether there were any issues, some managers have already said they didnt receive scout reports on their opponents and some others didn't get order sheets for these new games, so I need to go through and sort out those issues for the future, when I get time... |

| In a complex deal fullback Fagner moves from Vasco to Fluminense in exchange for Lyanco, Nathan and Andrey, all of whom should improve Vasco even though they have had to give up a world class fullback.
Real Madrid recalled fullback Odriozola from Zaragoza where he has been playing out of his skin.
Another big deal is the move of Jorge Koke to Valencia from Barcelona in exchange for up and coming youngsters Ferran Torres and Sergio Gomez.
Schalke paid £100millions for Samuel Umtiti from Nantes but recouped some of that when they allowed Kalidou Koulibaly to move in the other direction for £50millions.
That's all the big deals, all the other deals can be found on the TP special action. |

| I've just noticed that age no longer affects a players tribunal value so i'll have to put that right for next week, not sure how long this error has been present but I hope you all enjoyed it while it lasted... |

| Is there a guideline for listing players Paul, ie should they sell eventually at twice tribval if under 29? If over 29, tribval could be obtained? |

No no no...hah edit Actually my comment here is a bit unfair, on re-reading your question I would change the "will sell" to "could sell" and just take out the age altogether. It's been a busy day.

| If you list a player on a free he will leave the following week, any other amount and one of two things may happen to make him leave. A real manager buys him for the asking price or the system will buy him for a reality managed team if he is needed at a reality managed team and you want less than twice the tribval, twice the tribval is the maximum the system will pay for players if they are wanted somewhere else but these sales are not guaranteed.
edit
All transfer listings are "bargain" rated from 15% to 85% where 85%=tribval and 15%=tribval*2 then they are sorted into "bargain" order and bought as needed until no more are needed at whatever chance% they have been rated at, so it's slightly random and unpredictable. |

| There is also a weighting in the "bargain" rating for a players age when two ratings are the same, so older players are generally less likely to be bought if there is a younger alternate available. |

Delighted with this results, fruits of labour to help develop botafogo over the last couple of season's. Maybe another 2 and Tom will be looking over his shoulders!! |
