- A couple of transfers this week worth mentioning are Charlton's purchase of England's young Harvey Elliott from Newcastle for £20millions and Watford's capture of Harry Maguire from Aston Villa in exchange for French playmaker Adrien Rabiot.
Also on the move were Corentin Tolisso who joined Monaco from Genk for £60millions and Jonas Hector who left Schalke in favour of Gladbach who paid £60millions for him. Pablo Fornals joined Westham for £45millions in the hope they would win the playoff final. AC Milan snapped up Faouzi Ghoulamd for £36millions from Genk and Seb Haller made the move to Plymouth from Barcelona for £32millions.
New boss at St Johnstone also splashed out when he spent £18millions of Tin Vedvaj from Schalke.
Bristol City accepted a permanent bid from Watford for Lloyd Kelly who cost them £9millions. Sometimes you've got to sell to improve and sadly, Tolisso and Ghoulam were the victims of the Manager. Tolisso departs Genk for a second time not being able to force his way into the manager's plans even though his departure leaves fans wondering who is going to take the AM role with rumours touting Rabiot to return. But a late deal see's the young and "head" strong Maguire move to vicarage road... is this the end of Kompany.... Surely the manager has a plan.....
Fazoui Ghoulam, probably one of my longest serving players a shame to see him go however, with the competition of Ferland Mendy and Contrao there isn't any space in the squad for sentiments so onto pastures new for the Algerian Left back.
Let the stadium rebuild commence, after two consecutive titles at Genk the fan base has dramatically increased and the currently 45,000 capacity isn't enough with fans eager to watch the likes of Neymar and Griezmann... Rabiot to return? I don't understand, you've just sold him? Is Dave selling him straight back to you? |

| Email turns all sent out, post will go friday morning.
Worth checking carefully again as the teams have now been promoted/relegated and a lot changes on week 24 in preparation for the new season... |

| I noticed quite a few 'useful' players retired at the end of the season because they had reached retirement age and not been put on protected status.
If you have such a player you'd like me to 'unretire' then leave a list here and I will see what can be done with them.
This seems to have taken some of you by surprise because the previous retiring age was 36 but I reduced it to 33 to hasten the reduction in the size of the player database, but that requirement has now passed. |

| Fluminense and Watford I think have 3 games this week, will the cup order sheet account for both super cup final and world club cup games? Will stamina be hammered because of these two midweek games?
Thanks |

| The World Club Cup final is NOT exempt from stamina effects. Uses your cup team.
The Super Cup finals are exempt from stamina effects. These are classed as Charity games with no income and use your first team.

| Charity Shield is England's Super Cup.
You dont need a cup order sheet for the super cup games ( incl charity shild ) but you do need one for the world club cup final.
So no missing cup order sheets. |
