Welcome to week 6 reset is finished and data entry has started...

Data entry has finished, phew, and the friendly games are underway, so I expect the league games to kickoff at their normal time of 1000 hours wednesday morning...

Tough week this week for Schalke, starting to lose faith in the recent tactical change to PEP, although not quite at the point of completely dropping it just yet. 
Decided to revert to FAS for the CL game v Juve, with a CC in place of S2 to help deal with Juves' CF.
Persisting with PEP in the league for now...Good luck everyone!

Delighted that all 3 teams won, however the game starts will be most interesting for this game as I changed Tactic in the cup after last weeks defeat. So looking forward to the match report.

Three home games in cup comps this week and three very good results.  To win all three to nil is great, really pleasing, seems we continue to grind out the results against the tough teams.  Long may it continue.

Onto the league games, Watford visit The Valley this week in a game we simply cannot lose, ideally need to win, although it is going to be really tough stopping the free scoring hornet machine.  Can the home crowd provide a big enough atmosphere to give us a much needed boost?  Fatigue will kick in for both sides in the second half I'm sure, so really cant see this finishing 0-0, especially with the talented forwards on display.  Up the Addicks!!  Come on boys!!

Good luck to everyone , My Chelsea team have been doing better than I expected , i'll be happy to stay in the league and anything else is a bonus.

and there's been a goal in our big match at The Valley where Charlton are playing Watford, so lets cross to Rob Hawthorne for an early update...

We have the two best sides in the Premiership on show here today with both at full strength and both coming of the back of good european results so I was expecting plenty of thrills and it is a good game but the defences are definitely on top at the moment. 

However the Charlton defence has been breached and of course it's that man Harry Kane who has done the damage, Watford's counter attacking through Bale and De Bruyne is exhilerating to watch and Kane is enjoying his best ever goal scoring period because of their effectiveness. But Charlton are looking capable and this game is far from over, but after 23 minutes it is

So the league leaders and current Champions have their noses in front...
