I wished a Christmas to him and his family on the email when I sent my turn sheets, I’m now thinking it is Ben, he’s desperate for a result so it adds up!

Although my spirit did die a bit today as I was informed I’ll be on furlough from January 1st...Happy New Year

The European games have just kicked off so the league games will kickoff tomorrow at 1000 hours.

If I get time tonight I'll pop back on later and post up the results, if not I'll post them up tomorrow morning.

Funny week this week for Schalke.

The rivierderby against Dortmund away, is playing second fiddle to the last CL match against Barca away!

I've gone for outscoring Dortmund and a bit defensive against Barca, as I only need 1 point to qualify - never particularly worked well doing that in the past, but seems like the sensible thing to do...

Loaned out a few more players this week and have gone for a couple of NEWs to bolster the Schoolboys.
And 1 long-shot NEW/TRIAL that I doubt will come off - no way he's not in the game already, surely?

It could be worse. Yup have you in Europe and I need a point to top the group and get a home game in the next round. On top of that, as Rich mentioned earlier, I am playing Real in El Classico.

I have gambled massively in both in an effort to field a relatively fresh team in each. I think I’m at home in both games which might help. I hope.

Iniesta injured for a while so Szoboszlai coming in for his first league start, hopefully he can get upto speed quickly as Iniesta has been fantastic recently. A return for Messi to the side for the first time in 3 weeks is also welcome. Should be a good game
