No Orders from Newcastle as expected but everybody else's orders received safely.

The reset is underway...

Friendly games have kicked off so I expect the league games to kickoff at the normal time of 1000 hours Wednesday morning...

Schalke

The manager has brokered a massive deal that sees Kylian Mbappe arrive at the club in exchange for 3 world class players (Kane, Zinchenko and Konate) plus 200m cash!
Let's hope his faith sees fruition in the future.
The chairman has also sanctioned more building works into the future too.
The immediate matter at hand, is a home game against high-flying Gladbach, with a win the only option to maintain the teams' good form...

WATFORD

Quarter of the way through the season already... This weeks opponents are Plymouth, will Ben play for the bore draw or will he play adventurous? Watford have injury to Kevin De Bruyne and Thomas Partey, which gives chance for James Ward Prowse to dictate the game from deep and put the leadership and determination to good use! As for RW, Harvey Barnes flips from LW to RW and in comes the enigma that is Sterling... Will he take this chance ? Looking forward to seeing how the team copes. Only other change would be Shaw back in at LB, even though Baines has been in great form.. 3 games in a row is a lot to ask for a veteran player so he is happy to start the game on the bench.. However, experience is needed of the bench to win games some time. Plymouth have a injury to Bernardo Silva... So will Ben throw a player on for there debut this week? Depay? Lukaku? 
Off-field see's the departure of Daniel Sturridge, Bobby Clark and Oakley Cannonier... Watford manager needs to reduce his squad size in order to keep bringing in the next Generation of talent. Also, Jamal Musiala moves to Bayer Leverkusen to get some more game time having out grown the Watford youth academy and needing to play regular minutes to continue his meteoric rise to stardom.. Germany is a natural fit for the German international

GENK

A bit of a stuttering start to this season, but the future is bright for Genk and this weeks opponents are unmanaged Gent. The team are feeling top fitness and are eager for each game competition has increased amongst the squad with some veteran players pushing the young players to perform better! Cabaye has been in fine form covering for the injured Gravenberch.. Who comes back into the fold! The future captain and future of the Genk side is eager to get back on the pitch and dominate proceedings. 
Away from the game the manager is looking to rejuvenate some parts of the squad to enable more competitive side, in comes Kalidou Koulibaly to help add some defensive solidarity to the backline... But who will he replace in the first11 Badishille or Rudiger? 
Could Christensen Eriksen have played his final game from Genk? The manager likes the link between midfield to be able to do both sides of the game, defend and attack! So looking for a more robust DY! Some others may find there time in Belgium coming to an end shortly....

LEVERKUSEN

The German side were unfortunate last week not to get anything from the game! Keep the mighty Schalke quiet for most of the game, so the manager is pleased with the direction the team is taking.. But knows more can be done to keep the fortunes of the club driving forward. Son Heung-Min comes into the starting 11 having found his locker and a place to hang his shirt up in the changing rooms! First of many superstars to make there way to Bayer team no doubt! Gunnarson comes into the midfield to replace the injured Busquets who has been dominating the midfield for the German side and will be a big loss in the centre of the park and Jonny Otto has recovered from his minor injury to displace Pisczek. Out of the frying pan into the fire as they say.. this weeks opponents are Bayern Munich! The team is littered with stars and the Leverkusen team will be hard pressed to contain them all... With Bayern attacking through Wingbacks.. So this might be a high scoring game!
Offield, Musiala comes in.... Will there be enough space for Musiala and El Sharwary in the side?
Otherwise, few more players leave on loan to build up there game time.

BOTAFOGO

Has the team finally started clicking.... Hulk has been getting himself amongst the goals as of late, no doubt due to brilliant build up play from Neymar! 4 goals in 2 games for Hulk and 3 goals for Fernandinho! So goals from from every direction! Apart from RW with neither Tete or Veron adding to the goal threat this season and the manager has moved to rectify this... Lucas will move from his DY position to the RW and the new signing Saul will join the midfield!
League game is Vs Santos... Not a game i look forward to! As Santos did the double over me last season, Both teams are in good form and Botafogo have adapted to there new formation extremely well, winning the last 4 games since changing. Will be looking to make the home advantage count! Could even go top of the table IF.... Botafogo win by a margin of 3 goals or more!

Not long to wait now as the players go through their final warm up routines and the anticipation mounts...
