| Welcome to week six.
The reset is underway but my wife comes out of hospital today following a major operation so I expect to be pretty busy looking after her for awhile and i'm not sure how much time will be available for running the game, but I will do what I can when I can and we'll see how it goes.
Thanks for your patience... |

Thanks for your patience... Paul, I'm sure everyone will agree that you should take whatever time you need and get back to the game whenever you're ready. Some things are considerably more important no matter how much we all love it. No rush at all and I hope you're both OK. |

| WATFORD Watford have clicked into gear since the swap back to PEB, with the manager keen to keep things settled and not make any changes to the first XI, despite some really impressive displays from the players coming off the bench when required. Their reward is a place in the CUP side. This weeks opponents are newly promoted Spurs. With the likes of Sanchez, Ziyech and Jimenez leading the like it will be a tough day at the office for Gabriel, Shaw and Cancelo. However, can the battle be won in midfield? Bernardo Vs Perisic will be a interesting match up. Also, Felix Vs Foyth and Martinelli Vs Hickey. Now Watford have made it to the top of the league, can they maintain some momentum... Champions Cup Vs Anderlecht, Tomori comes in to give Rudiger a break and Lavia comes in for his debut. As the saying goes if your good enough, your old enough. A battle of the Belgium's for the manager Onana Vs Lavia for a place in midfield alongside irreplaceable and immoveable Rice. Strength in depth is what will allow the side to battle for multiple titles this year, having made the final last season the manager will be aiming to go one step further. GENK Genk are making there presence in the league felt, with a crucial win over Mechelen last week, however the title isn’t going to be a walk in the park with Liege top on goal difference. With Genk only being the 3rd highest scoring team. Something that the manager is disappointed in given the amount of chances the team create. More clinical in front of goal required. This week sees Brian Brobbey come into the side as Lukaku picked up a knock last week but has been to see a world class specialist which should help reduce recovery. Competition in the Genk squad is fierce and some players will have to step there game up or they will be replaced with the likes of Saelemaekers, Bade, Le Fee, Pape Sarr and Ekitike all capable to break into the first XI this season. Liege the opponents this week, things will be tense for 90mins for the side looking to leapfrog the team at the top… Europa opponents PSV will be a tough ask to overcome given the quality through out the side, but the manager can’t get to caught up. Got to play the XI in front of you and aim to progress. LEVERKUSEN Well well well… The manager has struggled to get his groceries at the local Aldi Nord due to the fans being disgusted the team are in the relegation zone after 5 games, something the manager is embarrassed and shocked at given the players at his disposal. Having conceded the 4th most goals so far this season it's no surprise the side have struggled to rack up points this season. Only one change to the side this week though, experienced midfielder Gueye comes in at BW for Andrich for a more solid midfield. But players will need to step-up or they will find themselves replaced in the XI. SMS 2 goals in 6 games, Nkunku 1 goal in 8 gamers and Hazard 0 goals so far this season. Only Lewandowski can hold his head high with 5 goals in 6 games. Olmo and Baumgartner waiting in the wings to get there chance in the first XI and will get a chance to show there credentials in the CUP Vs Espanol. BOTAFOGO Botafogo have started the the season in sublime form, the manager has made one chance to the starting XI this week with the versatile Lucas Moura dropping in at RB due to the sale of Domilson Dodo last week who swapped side with Vanderson who is eager to get into the side but will first have to get used to his new surroundings and team mates. Otherwise little change in Rio as the side with the only dealings being to secure the back-room staff stick together and keep striving together. Raphael Veiga and Cleiton make their debuts in the cup and will no doubt look to make their presence felt in the league side also. Good luck to all! |

| Hope all went well in the operation Paul, obviously take as much time as needed, the game pales into insignificance during times like these. |

Thanks for your patience... Echo all the comments Paul and if there is a way of making it easier for you to run the game, let us know! Maybe pausing reviews etc for a while as you’ve said takes a long time to process could be useful? Either way hope her recovery goes well and if anything we can do, please let us know! |

| It's the end of the second week of an estimated six week recovery for my wife and it seems to be progressing as expected, which allows me some time to start running the game again...
The data entry has started... |
