Season 34 Week 14 processing...

Welcome to week 14.

The season seems to be streaking past.

The reset is underway...

No orders from Real Madrid but everybody else are in the building...

Data entry has started...

Friendly games have kicked off so I will schedule the league games to kickoff at 1000 hours Wednesday morning...

WATFORD

The side managed to earn a point last week against fellow title chasers Charlton. Result didn’t do either side a favour. As allowed the sides above to go further ahead. However, still plenty of games between now and end of season… Anything can happen.  Manager has decided to  have a little shuffle in the middle of the park to hopefully play around the midfield of Plymouth. Hopefully Maddison can come in and add an extra dimension (Theory sounded good after a rum or two and well, thought might aswell give it a go! Ha). New deals for Dean Henderson who has so far kept new signing Edouard Mendy out of the first XI and Tammy Abrahams, who will no doubt be feeling the pressure from Ferguson.
Champions league game Vs Ajax… Total Football, not a tactic the manager comes across very often. But the cup side have plenty about them to navigate this fixture. With some of the players no doubt pushing for a starting XI in the league.
 

GENK

Business as usual at Genk, with a couple of changes to the bench in Jorrel Hato and Vermeeren fresh off his Full-review is chomping to get into the side. Unfortunately the manager hasn’t had the opportunity to give him the minutes he deserves, but no doubt will break into the side for next season. Couple of players heading out on loan, new signings Kriszrtian Lisztes and Mathis Amougou with the youth side having plenty of midfield options currently. League side are Bruges. With high scoring Engin Bekdemir having score 19 goals in 20 games one to watch out for. Any slips now will give Mechelen the opportunity to pounce on top spot. Professionalism require from the side to keep progressing forward.
CUP opponents, another Dutch side.. Feyenoord, but unlike traddional dutch sides is playing FAS with Bart Ramselaar and Vlahovic in sublime form having scored 47 goals between them. Are Thearte and Koulibaily up to the task?
 

LEVERKUSEN

Leverkusen, what is left to say? Poor, the manager has decided to roll the dice with the side and switch formation… Can the manager get the best out of his players, some fans are feeling the manager has lost the plot! Might be true.. maybe to many changes? Maybe not enough.. League game Vs Hamburg who have struggled in the Bundesliga this season… Hopefully Leverkusen arnt about to give away points..
Cork City in the CUP, who boast Reimond Manco and Davy Klassen amongst the ranks. Same formation kept as previous game. So Tadic and SMS share the midfield responsibilities.

(No Thorgan Hazard, but closest i could get to Eden! ha)
 

BOTAFOGO

Go Botafogo, go. Go Botafogo, go! Surely a better chant is required? The side are in sublime form and the manager isn't changing a single thing. Weverson between the sticks has only conceded 6 goals all season which is sensational giving how far into the season we are. Internac are this weeks opponents and the manager is looking to sweep them away and add 3 cructial points to the board before we get into stamina issues and rotations required.
Libertadores opponents are Penarol, again the forward line are strong having scored 49 goals between the forwards.. Hopefully the defence is up to the task. The brazil side have ambitions to win back to back Copa Libertadores.
