Only three games left and this is a two horse race...

Very good week for three of my sides, three important wins.  Nantes keeping pace with Paris, Wolfsburg grabbing another 3 points in a tough away game and Flum continuing their rebirth with a close fought win.

Charlton.  Another season, same old story.  We always find a way of throwing it away in the last few weeks of the season.  Previously unbeaten at home for quite a while, to lose to a team who had already played a vital cup semi in midweek is another level of choking.  Gutted.  Thought we had a decent chance this year.

Although the table will read three teams level on points, the remaining fixtures will guarantee we fall well short come the final week.  Away to City next week will breed zero points as always.  Even if we manage to scrape a draw, the fixtures remaining for Watford will see them home.  

Congrats to Watford and City for seeing me off, good luck to both teams for the final few weeks.

Barcelona unfortunately give up their 100% League record away from home to a superstar filled Real. Always a tough place to go. Still 5 points and +20 goal difference ahead and hopefully enough to get over the line.
Nacional grabbed a solid 3-0 win and a Danubio - Penarol draw means 2 points picked up over both of them. 5 points in it ..... heard this before.
The Hannover miracle continues. In spite of some big beatings in the League early on Hannover have bounced back and now have a couple of big away wins under their belts. With losses for Karlsruhe and Leverkusen 3rd place should be in our grasp.
Routine week for Rennais.... thank goodness. Focus is on the Cup final against the dominant team in France ........ Tom's Nantes.

On the face of it, it looks like we still have a chance but the fixtures aren't very favourable.  Don't get me wrong, we won't give up but it will be very very difficult.

To be out the race losing at home to a potentially tired team is really disappointing.  

Full focus on next weeks Champions Cup final.  Biggest game Charlton have had since I took over a few years ago (I dread to think how many....)

I think I was 18 when I started.... 15 years ago 

Not sure if Rob started when he was 18?  His first team would've had Bell and Summerbee in it.

I think my first team had Henry, Hleb, Rosicky, Gallas, Reyes, Eduardo and I managed to get them relegated. Impressive to be honest ha. 

Also remember trying to flog you; Armand Traore but you wouldnt pay 12.5million lol.

My first signing was 5million for Jermaine Pennant and I swapped to WHV I think..... No concept of disruption or playing friendlies etc ha.

I think I had Leece as a feeder club and Crueziro aswell. Don't think I was very successful with them teams ha
