| WATFORDWatford have managed to give fans something to believe in this season. After a change two weeks ago the side have managed back-to-back wins to help there cause for glory this season. 19 A5-1 FLP6 Leicester BERNARDO(2) MADDISON(28,66,75) BARNES(68) 18 H3-2 FLP6 Chelsea 120,000 RUDIGER(49) MADDISON(61) ABRAHAM(82pen) Having channelled my inner Ange Postecoglou and managed to get the best out of Maddison who has returned the faith by scoring 4 goals in 2 weeks. Previously been used in cup games and rotation the manager decided he was to influential to be a bit part player. 5138 22 JAMES MADDISON DYTM 27 9999 22-19 This weeks opponents are Manchester United, who are no push overs in any competition. So it’s going to be important for the manager to keep his motivated. Home advantage must be capitalised on to keep momentum. Bruno Fernandes was MOM last week, hopefully Rice can contain the Man Utd Captain. Make or Break time of the season… GENKGenk changed things up with aplomb… The side running out 8-0 winners in their match. De Ketelaere enjoying his more central role. Opening up the wings to the Belgium Red Devil duo of Bakayoko and Doku supplying Veteran Lukaku with goal scoring opportunities. Fans flocked to the training ground to see Aurlien Tchoumeni arrive, the manager has been looking for a natural in that position who can play along side Camavinga, who better then international team-mate? However, the future of Anguissa and Kessie are in doubt no as the side have too many midfielders. Still only 4 points between 1st and 2nd place. So complacency and reckless team changes can’t be made. So will have to allow the side to continue until mathematically signed, sealed and delivered. LEVERKUSENFirst defeat in a while for Leverkusen in the league last week out.. However, they did overcome Schalke in the CUP to reach another final… This week the focus will no doubt be on the European Cup final Vs Aston Villa. Aston Villa have had a sublime season in the premier league this season. And will no doubt be looking to add silverware to there season. But this isn’t a popularity competition and the manager has told his side to be ruthless and put the team to the sword in order to bring glory. Last season was a narrow Victory over Shamrock thanks to penalties. So hopefully the side can get the business done within the 90 mins! BOTAFOGOThere was celebrations for days in the Capitial, after the Rio side brought home the league title. Carnivals all over, Brahma & Cachaca consumed! However, there is still games to play. Managed has been keen to see how Goncalo Ramos gets on leading the line having tried so many other forwards. However, on the score sheet in the league last week is a good indication. Also, Neymar seems to have got back to his best form… Good luck to all! |

Congratulations to all the winners... Gutted for Independiente - my fifth major final loss in CF - one day, one day.... Think have now lost to Geoff, Andy, Phil (twice?) and Rob... Congrats though to Geoff - the boys did well reaching a second final in a row against a high quality Brazilian contingent. Now to focus on domestic games! Congrats to everyone who won their respective finals! |

Thanks Paul! Got to get to these finals to be in with a chance to win them… they will come good in the CL am sure in due course - losing to a high quality Santos side isn’t a major disappointment. Now to mirror the transformation - and stability - at Plymouth who stayed true to the same tactic again this week (so it begins…) |

I have no idea who posted this but someone is pretending to be Ben. There is no way the real Ben would be fielding the same team for 2 games in a row. Who is this and where's Ben????? |

| I am reading all this by the way lol! If you must know I recalled Zinchenko to provide a bit more width - seemed to be lacking in the switch to FAS but balanced with a BW to MM Perisic the PM - whether it works or not remains to be seen tomorrow… |

For once the manager is present and no meetings coinciding with what is a huge week. Have 'blocked-out' some the noise coming from the other managers... Lots of quotes from the manager flying around social media, but seems as though this is the most accurate coming out of the club: "On the forum they are the ******* bosses, the ******* masters. I don't want to compete with them for a moment off the pitch" |
