| 3/4 this week...
Unfortunately Watford continue there erratic form. With the manager having to shoulder the blame due to constant changes and tinkering. But the manager has his vision and is keen to implement it as soon as possible. But will there be anymore pices to add ? A new Goalkeeper might have to be considered at this rate!
Fantastic result for Milan, securing 3 important away points to Lazio. Hopefully the team can keep on track. Even with the slight disruption due to ocure.
Leverkusen are keeping pace in the league which is fantastic for the club. Given they had an terrible domestic season last year. Hopefully they've got enough in the tank to continue.
Botafogo, giving a slight scare with the early goal. But Neymar is on another level and is a role model for the team |

| Premiership
ManCity 21 +13 Plymouth 16 +9 ManUnited 13 +4 Spurs 12 +5
A narrow victory for City this week, against the run of play as well, gives them a five point lead over the chasing pack although Tottenham stumbled to their second home defeat of the season as Newcastle took all three points for the first time. Three points separates fifth from relegation and it looks like being a tough season for some... |

| Bundesliga
Schalke 21 +23 Leverkusen 18 +16 Karlsruhe 15 +4 Hannover 9 -3 Wolfsburg 8 -2 Champions
The top three seem to be pulling away slightly with Schalke unbeaten having already scored a massive 26 goals in seven games, seems they may be back to their best with Kimmich in incredible form this week after a spell on the bench... |

| La Liga
RealMadrid 17 +15 RealBetis 16 +10 Valencia 16 +7 Atletico 15 +11 Barcelona 13 +9 Champions Sevilla 13 +2
Pretty close still in Spain but a good win for Real keeps them top of the table as Mainoo and Kante dominate lowly Deportivo... |

| Delighted with Chelsea winning although had to concede one so I was biting my nails for the last 8 minutes, dropping a DY for a BW seems to have given the side a better balance
Braga conceded a late equaliser at unmanaged Vicente which was disappointing with Andre Santos leaving this week to go back to Chelsea as the manager didn’t want him stuck there until he was 24
Bate keep marching on in a league of poor quality and not really much competition |

A couple of important signings at the PIAJ group as the manager seeks more natural wingers at Plymouth and a strong presence in the midfield. The aim - get the ball to Haaland who is VSA... Gallagher and Merino (who from Arsenal signing him, have discovered is more of a dual winning box to box midfielder) should battle it out for the central birth - providing greater stability alongside Douglas Luiz, or Caicedo. |

| I am seriously thinking about scrapping the current loan system completely. This week I spent 6 hours moving players around and that's time I'd rather spend on other things at the moment with my wife's condition.
Thoughts are welcome as usual... |

| Thanks for the update Paul and totally understandable.
I do wonder whether a loan ‘window’ might be appropriate - so managers have a 2 week window at the end of the season to agree loans/move players - and maybe 1 week during mid-season to do so - other than that, no loans to be facilitated?
Not sure we want to go down the ‘transfer window’ route as that area or the game is really interesting during the season but a ‘loan window’ would help to save your time! Personally, would rather you spend the time you do have - which I know is appreciated by us all - on running the games, the odd review and the transfers that do take place?
Think can speak for us all in saying, whatever works best for you - we love the game so want it to continue as much as possible, whilst ensuring you can also concentrate on more important matters! |

| As an additional point - and maybe again might support the above aspect, would be for clubs to be further limited in squad sizes?
So you could have - ensuring that those with only 1/2 clubs are not disproportionately impacted - would be 50 (including players out on loan) for Parent Clubs, and 40 (including loans) for sister and partner clubs.
Stops the ‘Chelsea’ phenomenon (sorry Gaz) or hoarding players…
As have said - whatever works for you! |

| I think the idea of a 2 week loan window is a good idea. I'd be happy with this if implemented. |

| A Loan window is a good idea. Personally i think most people use the Loan system to get an Extra 10 squad limit. So don't know if possible to put squad limit to 60 and could scrap the loan system ? Another hex-dragon-diagonal number ? |

| I’m happy to go with the majority, I only have two players out on loan so doesn’t really affect me that much. |

| Or possibly cutting loan numbers by half to 5 and introducing a 2 week window once a season as well? That'd reduce things considerably. |

| Or could you remove the current Loan System. And create 1 Loan Academy where we can send our players too? So it's just 1 club for everyone ? |

| My view, for what it's worth, is if it takes up that much time it isn't worth it. Personally I enjoy the youth/schoolboy side of the game (steady Gaz) so like to have numerous options in the academy but to be honest I only use the current loan system to house another 10 players. I don't follow their performances in the game etc, but I guess the only thing we will miss out on is game experience accrued? That is fairly insignificant though, not worth 6 hours work!
If we could get squad limits back up to 60 instead then I wouldn't miss the loan system at all. If that isn't possible then can we have at least until the end of the season to sort out numbers back down to 50? |

| Alternatively, have a two week window, like Ben suggests, weeks 23-24 where we can loan players that can't be recalled (no ENDLOAN) but maybe it would be better if it was just until week 22 of the following season rather than until they turn 24? |

Quite like this option. Returning LOANed players in week 23, and allowing LOANs at anytime? There would be no ENDLOAN and we could keep some squad flexibility throughout the season. Perhaps that doesn't ease the workload for you enough Paul? Maybe limiting the number of LOANs available to 5 or 6? Plus they'd only be loaned out once per season, and the ENDLOANs in week 23 could (I imagine) be automated? Andy. |

Thanks |
