Well some good results across the teams. 

Disappointing to see Plymouth drop points at home to bottom side Fulham - but perhaps some tiredness at the end with the European game being away and the manager is unlikely to panic at this stage - though perhaps will look at his bench more in future games - the young Brazilian Savinho may yet get this chance off the bench soon...

Some interesting tactical changes taking place in friendlies so will be interesting to see whether those worked or not.

Otherwise a solid week as we approach the last 10 games of the season...

Delighted with Chelsea winning a 3rd game on the trot , hopefully snd hint at relegation should be safe now as the manager is thinking of starting to phase out Kovacic and Grujic/Bakayoko for the young starlets of Santos and Lavia

Plymouth remain top despite dropping points at home this week for the first time this season. Man United move up into second as they beat the struggling Champions in front of a packed Old Trafford crowd leaving arch rivals Man City back in third on goal difference after their 'brawl' at Newcastle saw them grab a point. Plymouth have a glorious past, winning seven league titles, the last time in season 28, but four tough fixtures next for Plymouth away at Arsenal and Watford and at home to Villa and Man United will no doubt show whether they have got what it takes to win the league this time around...

Bournemouth stay top and lead the way after a narrow victory at home to Leeds in which Joelinton was excellent. They havent lost since Banstead beat them back in week five and they are looking very settled.
I'm hoping my Banstead side can do enough to stay on course for promotion even after Cole Palmer returns to Man City because he has been awesome so far, eight goals in twelve league games, and i'm hopeful if we can at least draw away at Everton and Birmingham in the next few weeks. We shall see...

Leverkusen extend their lead at the top after another impressive performance from them and a surprising capitulation from Schalke this week, fans are asking "what the hell" is happening in Gelsenkirken. Wolfsburg continue to improve as Tom gets them back on track without Harry Kane who didnt get a game at all this week...

Nantes stay top in France despite losing to Etienne in what was a close game but Rennais couldn't take advantage as they too lost away at Bordeaux, luckily for a lot of clubs Paris won to prevent a stock market crash of biblical proportions. Only five points separates the top five clubs all of whom have shown flashes of top form so far this season and it'll be interesting to see what happens from here on in...
