You could of asked that question at any point since Munto first came on the scene Tom!! lol Its been one long period of mystery, uncertainty, and the unknown with endless question marks!!!

NottsCoMad forum has extensive commentry and comment on what's been happening, but a lot of it is guess work and opinion/banter. Careful it can get quiet nasty on there so be warned if you are checking it out Wink

I'm just going to sit back and see what happens, read the messageboards, listen to the interviews etc and not speculate too much, I've learnt there is no point in that, I'll leave that to everyone else.

I'm less surprised than most cos of what my old man has been repeatedly telling me over the past few months, and it was concerning stuff to say the least.

It's certainly not dull being a Notts fan this season lol.

In summary from me: Best case, someone else buys the club and we maintain the squad and ambition to get out of this league.

Likely case, disruption, disruption, disruption, see's us underperform and miss out on the play offs cos of off field problems or/ future point reduction.

Worst case, me and Rich will be stood watching AFC Notts County of something like that a lot further down the footballing pyramid, which would be awful but in a strange way quiet attractive, going back to its roots! Remember I don't like the football world nowadays.

i'm sorry to hear of this. its a disastrous situation that every club no matter what level finds itself at the hands and knees of wealthy owners. unfortunately most of them have no interest in the club other than their own gain. its a real shame that clubs are often treated too much like a business. money talks too much and notts county won't be the only club to suffer at the hands of an ejit, that is certain. atleast their fans are used to agonising, and thats about the best they can probably take from all this. i'm sure dan and rich have had a gutful over the years as much as our lot at bournemouth.

still, the consequences will be much worse for premier league clubs who suddenly find themselves at the peril and owing a debt to a wealthy owner once they pull their investment out of the club. their is a much larger scale problem to come at the top end of the game
