since no one has started a topic yet, i feel the urge to rant about this week.

i managed to get Wojciech Szczesny in at Arsenal in a swap deal for Boaz Myhill which pleases me a lot, as Wenger rates him highly and he looks a good soild keeper.

managed to get James Forrest in on TRIAL. he played in the emirates cup for celtic (had one good game, 12mil any offers?)

Chamakh is still AWP... which frustates me a lot, since he played in the emirates cup which is a High End Friendly.

Diaby was ineffective in my friendlies was expect though, but i did play fairly well in all my friendlies so good signs for the for coming season..

The cash in the Wilshere deal didnt really matter Phil, it was just to even things up. It was a 3 for 1 player swap.

Very happy with the signing of Franco Zuculini from the new Lazio manager and I also newed in his younger brother Bruno who is meant to be an even better prospect.

Managed to get Marseille as a feeder club but they only have £1.8M !!!

same here martin. stadium sponsor should give us 10m? you'll get 20m for a takeover aswell martin being a top flight club so you should have 30m next turn

To all those who took part in the Anglo Irish Cup, the B Cup and the Czech Cup, thankyou. The match reports of those games were interesting and way more fun than reading about pre season friendlies.

It is only because i tried to swap a player with them and it didn't happen because they were 'managed'. How are you supposed to sign players from clubs without real managers?

If they are 'reality managed' you'll need to find out what criteria their manager wants by doing an SO report on the club.

It'll tell you things like

"wants players under 29. Ptcr equal, same position" etc.

It's a brilliant introduction to make previously inaccessible clubs easier...but not easy to deal with.

Also Lazio were Martin @ bohemians main club until halfway through the season when he fell out with Paul. I believe he'd already paid for a season ticket and agreed to 'remain in charge' until eos. I could be wrong, Martin is the best man for clarification

yup, we're now seemingly only allowed to sign players from other forum managers, so you may aswell forget about 80% of the players out there!

Stu, unfortunately, yet again you're spouting rubbish. Are you on crack or something this week?. You're normally such a well informed chap...anyway

Of the 64 'top transfers' from this week that were done involving Forum managed clubs, only 37 were deals between forum managers.

Meaning 27 were either swaps with unmanaged or reality managed clubs. So i think it's a bit wide of the mark to tell Jonny, who's fairly new into game, that he cant sign anyone.

It's just not true. Lets not go trying to put people off the game eh?

this is of course, not even counting swap bids done by those clubs at lower league level, 9 times out of 10 who arent deemed important enough to make the 'top transfers'.

I remember signing Bridge from Chelsea, and it not making the list, despite it being something like the 4th highest value of the week..but something like the newing of Ibrahim Said to Diosgyori was deemed important enough to make the list.

well yeah i was being over dramatic with that percentage....!

on a brighter note, i've been tallying off the days til my holiday wednesday week and spotted a blue 'BH' just before it, which must mean another bank holiday is upon us. so, no turns until a week tuesday. the day before i leave for my holiday! what an exciting prospect. just a shame i'll only have a day to get my turn filled out....
