| bloody hell!!!
sky were only last night saying hodgson to be in charge for the united game.
very surprised i thought they might give him the cup game.
as a fan who do u want.
for me as a neutral i want Oneil, will be great to see him at a club he can really get stuck into and with time im sure liverpool would start challenging again.
i think itll be good for him , liverpool, and the english game as oneil is always prepared to give youth or lower league talent a chance to shine.

| sam allardyce. just for a laugh. mind you, he did work wonders working with mediocre players ( ) at bolton and blackburn so it may not be such a bad idea. paul konchesky, lucas, babel and all that other tosh would soon start playing better then i bet. and you wont see gerrard and torres trudging around with such slopey shoulders. their performances have been pretty lamentable to say the least. still, it'll be interesting to see if the "king" can work some magic. good luck to him and liverpool, they really dont deserve another season of being laughed at from all corners. |

| really will be interesting to see how the king does. the expectations at anfield are still the same as when dalglish became player manager back in 1985 yet how contrasting the two sets of players are. back then liverpool had 7-8-9 world class players, right now you would say maybe 3? not even sure torres counts as world class the way he's been sloping about, he was dreadful at the world cup aswell. so...dalglish has it all to do, much the same as keegan did on his second coming at Newcastle, and we all know how that ended up. though to be fair to keegan he actually had it harder first time round than second, but being called the messiah mustve weighed him down more than a haymaker right hook. |
