data entry all complete, friendly games underway... looks like the league games will kickoff at 1300 hours on wednesday as per last week.

Running the reserve, youth & schoolboy games now, then the first round of the domestic cups...

2nd v 3rd at The Valley. Big game, will be a very tough one, hopefully Benteke won't cause me too many problems.

On a par with that is Fluminense's fixture against the giants that are Flamengo. Will be a good indicator of how much work is still to be done in order to be taken seriously.

There are some big games again this week with, as Tom says, Villa's visit to Charlton being amongst the biggest. Can Villa's defence stand against Charlton's star studded attack and can the home defence withstand the onslaught of high balls we expect from this Villa team, we shall see. Bayern travel to Dortmund and Berlin entertain highflying Gladbach and if that wasn't enough we also have the Champions Schalke at home to table topping Cologne. Biggest game in Italy has to be Ancona against Inter Milan where the visitors will be trying hard to maintain their 100% start to the season. Two big games in Spain where Real Madrid entertain Valencia and Barcelona travel to Real Betis and it'll be interesting to see how Betis's wave tactic matches up to Barca's winger tactic. Only one decent game in France this week that sees Etienne host fast improving Marseille.
