Hi guys,

I have just re-joined the game after many years out. Currently trying to re-familiarise myself with everything! I will be managing Sevilla this season, any help and advice will be greatly appreciated. It looks like it is going to be a lot of work to return this club to the big time!

Look forward to chatting to you all.

Jonny.

Welcome back Jonny, glad you decided to come back finally, I know you’ve toyed with the idea a couple of times!

Didn’t fancy returning Empoli to their glory days? You’ve picked a tough league in Spain but Seville have a lot talent so am sure you will do really well.

Welcome back pal, anything you need just post on here or message direct, we have quite a decent group on here these days, all of whom I’m sure will be more than willing to help.

Thanks Tom, yes I was going to come back a few years ago but things got in the way. I wish I had done it earlier though.

I have a couple of questions if anybody can help?
1) Paul has sent out my first turn as a WRI file - how do I read this type of file? I have a mac and have downloaded LibreOffice to open it but it has screwed the formatting completely.
2) Can you edit the turn and send this back or will I have to print it and scan it back across?

I have a Mac as well - Do you have Office - I open in MS Word and then save as a DocX file? Change it to size 4 and then zoom in!

If you don't feel free to send and can format and send back for you!

Tend to print, fill in in red then scan - but I think you could fill out and send back using word maybe

I am - see above - word works well here. Think Rob might also use a Mac?

Welcome Jonny!
I don't use a MAC, but I just open the WRI file in Softmaker FreeOffice 2018 (i used to use MS Office), which I find is the best 'match' (format wise) of all the free office suites.
I then set the margins, change the font and size, then save it as DOCX.
Then I can go through my turn to highlight anything i need to look at and print off relevant pages.
Andy.

That's great Andy - thanks for the tip. I have managed to change it to a dotx and it has worked pretty well!  Very Happy

Thanks Gary. Maybe not, I haven't played for getting on for 10 years! I was always in the Italian leagues beforehand, to a varying degree of success - mainly unsuccessful!

BTW, if anyone is interested in running a CC this turn, let me know. It would be great to see how my team will get on against the better opponents.

There will be a topic raised shortly to allow everyone to submit there teams and amount of CC and I do my best to generate the games.
However, feel free to organise your own if you have specific teams you'd like to play.
