Season 23 Week 22 processing...

Genuinely been a fantastic season.  Despite the overriding feeling of disappointment this last week, it has been a great season for Charlton.  To win the cup and finish third, when I was actually afraid of going straight back down at the start of the season, I couldn't be happier with.  We continue to build....

Disappointed to lose out on goal difference to Lille in France and also to Mark in the Europa final with Nantes, but a win in the domestic cup comes as some consolation.

Genuinely chuffed for Will, know how much thought he has put into it over the season.  That's not easy for him either , trust me!!

Thanks to Paul as well for some fantastic entertainment over this season.  Hats off for creating such an absorbing game.

Great effort again Paul. Truly great season. Happy with 4th at Plymouth after some serious transfer activity during the season. Done my business early this year so time to bed in some new signings for next season. Nearly got there in France but just missed out - a move to Italy next year beckons leaving Tom and Phil to fight it out again next year in France.

Why moving to Italy Ben?

Just fancied a change really after plying my trade in France for a couple of seasons so going to do what Gaz did and move my players etc to Sampdoria and see if I can somehow break Rob's dominance over Serie A...

I think so but tbh I have no buildings and money wise I don't have a huge amount tbh.

Well done to all the winners (and Matt), another season done. To all the nearly men (that's me) and  all the teams building for the future, the new season is not far away and we can do this all again.

Excellent work as always Paul, Well done to Will someone who i've always rated in the game even when pestering me with untold amounts of private messages for deals, I'm happy that Chelsea stayed in the league and will endevour to spend more time on them next season, I reckon i'm the only manager to log on each week and genuinely not know who my opponent was til a goal went in  
something i must spend more time on next season so no genuine suprise i was never in the race for the title.

Cska won the league and the cup so chuffed with that although again with a bit more planning its a league i really should have steam rolled

Congratulations to all the winners especially will for taking one of the hardest fought titles and to everyone else who makes this 'game' what it is!  

Think it could be the first time I've ever retained the title in Spain so I'm over the moon, now to figure out who's to go and who's to stay!  Was great to have the extra competition from betis this year and I've got no doubt they'll be even stronger next season.

Disappointing end of season for Flamengo who tailed off quite badly at the end and I think lost 2nd place on the last day.  The squads good so it's tie tinker with the tactics me thinks!

Honestly didnt think I deserved to win it on many occasions.

A solid start and first half of the season was then backed up by what can only be called an indifferent second half.

But somehow we crawled over the line, tell u what though think we all learned something this year - that top spot is a right poison chalice. How many of us had that spot at one time or another.

Need to try and start getting something out of the big away games. Birmingham, Plymouth, and Chelsea especially have a right hoodoo on me at their grounds and there's only so many times I can get the better of charlton,god knows how thats happend. That's coming to an end next year I'm sure.

Robbens given me a right headache now aswell. Was all set to get rid of him now I just don't know.... Again lol

Happy to have got Cisse in, have been very lucky that i haven't had an injury to my strikers this season and having another option helps massively. A few other things in the melting pot that will hopefully come to fruition in the next few turns.

having a few problems atm with week 22 processing, nothing too serious, the system doesn't seem to have updated trophy rooms and club records properly. May take me a while to sort out. So no email turns yet for sending out. Will keep you posted.
