Was always going to be a tight game with both teams playing FAS and I thought it might come down to a set piece so delighted that Per could pop up at the end. Commiserations to Rich - a top effort and thought it was going to end 0-0 tbh. Disaster at Lyon but as I said some new signings, Zlatan back and perhaps a shift in tactic might make the difference...

Absolutely livid with my shower, just fricking defend.
iv literally lost count of the number of last 10 minute goals iv conceded not just this year but probably since entering the prem.
I try and go defensive to counter for a late onslaught, I add a little extra aggression to try and have that defend for our lives mentality - yet the 10 minute warning comes up and my lot fall apart every away game - sigh
Still Mario and Luis cant hit a cows backside
and for those that know me yes Nani is on the same list as Berbatov and arshavin lol

congrats to rich though, not a bad turn, 11 past me and only one conceded, still one of my bogey teams.
if im trying to draw a positive from the game its an improvement on last years result where we put in a very abject performance and lost comfortably by two goals.
and at least its not the 3 league defeats on the spin ...that's about it though

Paul .................. I have to call you out/applaud you on this one. I have just scouted Santos and have noted they are managed by 'Pele' Hemmings. Getting in the samba spirit with your feeder club. Depressingly that would make me 'Diego' Wilson at Boca ............. which just sounds awful.
