| It's official Charlton have accepted a bid from Schalke of £125million for Luis Suarez and the deal is expected to be ratified later this week. Schalke have moved quickly to secure a world class striker following their failure to tempt Sergio Aguero away from Manchester City earlier in the season and are now looking to offload one or more world class players to help pave the way for Suarez. Players in the frame seem to be Alex Pato and Sami Khedira and Schalke have already secured £60million bids for each player, more to follow as things develop... |

| Sorry to see the Uruguayan depart the club, but the management team thought it would be the best for all parties. Suarez admitted he needed a new challenge whilst the board are keen on improving the commercial side of the club up to somewhere near that of our current rivals.
The responsibility of filling Suarez's boots will fall to Sturridge, Walcott, Origi and Iheanacho. I am hopeful that there could be a decent partnership in their somewhere between the two English forwards. If not, the two young talents will be more than willing to take their chance I am sure. Firmino, Sadio Mane and Diego Costa seem ready to make the step up from the feeder club too.
All the best to Suarez, I'm sure he will give the Schalke fans much to cheer about over the coming seasons. |

| Schalke are delighted to welcome the Uruguayan wizard to their ranks and are convinced that he will slot nicely into their fast pressing game, probably with a free role in attack, so that he can use his vast experience to find the faults in the opposition defense.
Schalke are also close to finalising another big deal for a world class DY this coming turn, and the manager is trying his hardest to further improve the side in the near future with a new mega-deal on the cards!
Exciting times at the Veltins-Arena! |
