| At a press conference the Bayern boss stated, "We lost the title last year because we were too predictable, our lack of width was too easy to counter by ordinary sides, and that will change this season. We will remain strong in the middle but we will now possess a threat out wide as well, which will make the most of two superb centre forwards". |

| Newcastle signed Nolito for a bargain £15millions from their feeder club Sevilla. |

| The other big deal this week sees Luis Suarez complete his World Record transfer from Charlton to Schalke as the diminutive striker signs a multi-million pound contract at the german giants and Charlton receive a cool £125millions in return. |

| Liverpool striker Daniel Sturridge must show more "bite and fight" to be a first-team regular, according to the club's former defender Mark Lawrenson.
"He is a class act but is not in Liverpool's best 11," said Lawrenson. "They have Coutinho, Firmino, Lallana, it is just not possible. I think it is a bonus to have him off the bench."Lawrenson, speaking to BBC Radio 5 live, added: "He is by far and away Liverpool's best goalscorer and he can make himself a goal out of nothing. At the moment he doesn't start but no problem, he can come on and score goals and change a game. Why sell him? Why make another team stronger?"
These comments would suggest to the world's media that Charlton are thinking about offloading their England striker as well ? |

| Rumors suggest that Mark Lawrenson was paid by a Premiership rival to make these comments on national radio, but the source of the funds is, as yet, unknown. |

| Could Firmino be on his way to Charlton ? mouths are ceratinly salivating at the thought of Firmino teaming up with compartriots Coutinho and Willian, might be just what the doctor ordered. |

Tai of Fiorentina has been sentoff.
Vital goal for Birmingham as Payet dazzles the crowd, what a goal. And Inter extend their lead with ten men, what a side they are going to be this season. Finally |

| Can't see Firmino working as I'm pretty sure there isn't a formation with 2 TM so wouldn't do me any favours.
No one will be leaving anytime soon anyway as I am gonna take a break from the game and just send in basic turns for a while.
I'll set rob up as administrator so any issues please direct them to him.
Good luck to all of you for the rest of the season.
