Season 31 Week 3 processing...

Welcome to week 3.

The reset is underway...

Everybody's orders have arrived and data entry has started...

Cup games have just finished, if I get time later I'll post up the relevant results. League games will kickoff Wednesday morning at 1000 hours...

Watford;

Manager pleased with the response last week vs West Ham 4 goals scored, 0 conceded what more could he want.... This week's opponents takes the Hornets to Crystal Palace who have the likes of Aguero, Drinkwater, Townsend and the evergreen Baines in there squad, will take a lot to come away with all the points. Especially since KDB/Pogba recovered from injury but not back up to speed so Bale and Barkley will continue to get a run in the squad.

Cup game vs Sheffield Utd, Pogba/KDB get a run out in the cup to get skills back up to par with the squad, as does a host of other players.. Hudson-Odoi, Sturridge, Otto and Rice. Manager made plenty of rotations but belief in the squad depth will hopefully take us through to the next round!

Genk;

This weeks game is VS the Belgium champions Antwerp! Will be interesting to see who comes out ontop in this encounter. Genk will be well rested this week with no CUP game in Belgium this week. Hopefully Lewendowski can find his scoring boots this week. Will also be a final game for Christensen who believed he would finally break into the first team this season. But the manager who has always promoted youth within his squad will see the Left footed Bashidille take over the CL spot. 

Leverkusen;

Aachen as this weeks opponents, with the manager really pleased the new players have managed to integrate and settle so quickly. Nainggolan come's into the first 11 this week at TM to give the team abit more experience. Hopefully can continue the promotion charge with 3 points this week! El Sharwaary will be looking to continue his goal scoring form.

Botafogo;

Well... couldn't get any worse for the defending champions who unfortunately missed the chance to take 3 points last week after missing a penalty at 3-2 had we scored could of changed the tie, already 6 points off the leaders! Never say never though! But the SAM experiment ends this week with the manager going back to CAT, Veron will fell hard done by after having a decent start to the season, who gives way to the talented and determined Victor Bobsin! Two 3-4 score lines promoted the manger to go back to basics and focus on not letting the opponents score! Yan Couto keeps his place at RB after making a decent debut for the injured Dani Alves.

Scotland, Spain, France and the USA were all supposed to be getting Round One games this season but due to a severe lack of time it was not possible to get all the required 64 teams onto the database in time. It will happen before next season though.

Big week for my teams – Barca away is a huge test for this new Atletico side (if I can escape with a point be over the moon). Shift of tactic for Plymouth being away from home so will also be interesting to see how the team get on here. Twente and Independiente remain work in progress...
