Motherwell 36 +13 Rangers 35 +15 Inverness 31 +13 Aberdeen 30 +6 Hibs 28 +10
Top spot is a hot potato this season with nobody seemingly able to maintain the summit for more than a few games and we all change again this week with Motherwell going to the top. Hibs demlished the Champions Celtic to stay on course for best finish ever and Aberdeen snuck past Rangers to keep their hopes alive, but it is certainly close and too close to call at the moment... |

Barcelona 48 +59 Real Madrid 42 +48 Atletico 39 +38 Champions Valencia 33 +6
A tough challenge for the chasing teams with Barcelona seemingly back to their absolute best having booked a place in the final of the Champions Cup and found a winner in the league game as well to help maintain the fans' excitement... |

| Fairly happy with a draw at Hannover, perhaps I was lucky again. Looks like my 'tweaking' was a bit too much this week! I'll need to tone it down a bit for the run-in... |

Danubio 48 +69 Nacional 45 +57 Champions Defensor 37 +39 Penarol 34 +21
One defeat all season for Champions puts them in a good position to retain their title although they will have to score a few more goals and beat Danubio away from home in the last game of the season to achieve that goal, so no easy task but if anyone can do it their boss can, should be exciting... |

Chicago 44 +33 Champions New York 34 +6 Washington 30 +19 Dallas 27 -2
Even a strong determined Washington side couldn't stop the Champions grabbing all three points again this week and its hard to see where they could slip up now... |

| Giovani Lo Celso leaves Chelsea for Nacional for £45millions. River Plate splash the cash on three youngsters at £15millions each in the shape of Joao Quinonez, Diego Palacios and Jose Cifuentes. The new Blackpool boss signs Koscielny and Capoue to boost his promotion hopes. A busy week for Rennais as they sell Majer and Aouar to Nantes before signing Chotard from Montpelier.
plenty more deals this week all detailed on the TP special action report. |

Dinamo Minsk continue to struggle in midtable despite the efforts of their recently appointed manager whilst the Champions Bate win again to maintain their impressve form and keep top spot... I saw no goal updates for Bate and that table would suggest they drew. |

| Email turns all sent out. I did notice some erroneous substitute messages on my match reports and I'll have another pass at getting them better sorted before next week.
Any other issues let me know, thanks. |

| Thanks Paul - one quick one on injuries.
I am getting the below messages but the players are still showing up as injured for 4 and 6 weeks etc - seems as though they aren't getting the benefit from the general specialist... Alvarez also not seen by the specialist for some reason?
Also had the same across some of the other clubs...
A few examples (from Plymouth):
CONOR GALLAGHER recovers naturally and his injury has reduced by 1 week. He was treated at Barcelona medical centre. His injury was reduced by one week. General Specialist improved his recovery by 4 weeks. General Specialist improved his injury protection by five weeks. FERRAN TORRES recovers naturally and his injury has reduced by 1 week. He was treated at Barcelona medical centre. His injury was reduced by one week. General Specialist improved his recovery by 6 weeks. General Specialist improved his injury protection by five weeks. JULIAN ALVAREZ recovers naturally and his injury has reduced by 1 week. He was treated at Barcelona medical centre. His injury was reduced by one week |

| Certainly looks as though Conor Gallagher should be on 1 week. The initial injury was for 7 weeks and that should have been reduced by -1 natural -1 medcentre and -4 specialist leaving him on 1 week so I will have a look to see whats happening there and correct things before next week. Thanks
Okay found the issue and corrected it for next week.
I will also check every injured player and correct them if they too have been affected.
Yep quite a few of these cases, so Ive reduced injured weeks to 1 for all injured players.

The affected players ( marked as INJ on your turns ) are innjured but only for one week, so if they are marked as injured they are still injured but only for one week. |

Hi P, does that go for all teams? I've got a couple of injuries that, at first glance, don't look quite right...andy |

| Sorry Paul, but is there is a reason there have been so many injuries this turn? I'm not sure about other managers but I seem to have had a high volume this week? Charlton - 4 injuries (not unbelievable, but unlucky) Wolfsburg - 4 injuries (same as above) Fluminense - 8 injuries (Seems a lot?) Nantes - 11 (eleven), including 6 in the league game, 5 in the first half an hour? 27 different players getting injured across my teams! |

27 different players getting injured across my teams! 3 injuries per match is the normal limit ( cos only 3 subs allowed ) depending on what aggression you use and what aggression your opponent uses. The higher the aggression the bigger the chances of getting an injury. Week 16+ increases the chances further. Bad weather like snow increases the chances also. So 3 from league, 3 from cup, 3 from reserve, 3 from youth and 3 from schoolboy game. So you could end up with 15 players injured during the week and having to be replaced during games. Most of them will be minor injuries that are recoverable during the week. But if one of your clubs has more than 50 players ( Nantes have 51 ) all of your clubs can have more injuries. Nantes have 51 players so the number of injurues they can get from each game is unlimited. Your 3 other teams get a +1 limit increase to 4 per game. So at the moment Charlton have 4 injuries carrying over to next week. Nantes have 2 injurues carrying over to next week. Flu have 3. Wolfsburg have 2. Injury chances = Shirt Pulling 0% Obstruction 0% Bad Diving 0% Friendly game 0% Testimonial game 0% Tour game 0% International Friendly 0% other games max number of injuries per game=3 1) youragg * oppoaggr ( 3*3 = 9% ) ( 5*5 = 25% ) ( 9*9 = 81% ) etc 2) plus 5% for winter 3a) 100% effective undersoil heating -5% 3b) partially effective -2% maxinj+1 3c) none +5% maxinj+2 4) international venue -5% 5) 100% effective Thermaturf -15% 6) Strongtackle +15% 7) Tough -25% 8 ) 100% effective Medicare Centre -15% 9) injury protection -75% 10) 100% effective youth academy & youth or schoolboy games -15% 11) week 16 onwards +15% 12) more than 50 players +15% maxinj unlimited 13) more than 50 players at one of your clubs maxinj+1 per extra player this gives you a chance of an injury. Injuries are more likely earlier in the game. Feedback is always welcome on this type of game mechanic. |

| Fully understandable that some weeks you can be unlucky and also that week 16 impacts things more.
However, the rule that if you go over 50 players then impacts injuries seems a little unfair? I was completely unaware of this and wouldn't have done the transfers if I'd have known. I thought the only handicap was that you couldn't sign more players until you'd gone back below the limit?
Whilst Nantes only have 2 injuries carrying over to next week, the other 9 who got injured have all had a massive drop in skills? So basically, my whole midfield is unplayable and I can train one at a time until they are all back up to speed. Without wanting to sound too dramatic, for going to 51 players for one week, my title challenge will end very quickly and I'll most likely exit the cup next week.
Fluminense on the other hand didn't go over the limit but still had 8 players who had a massive drop in skills, including all three TMs. So again, any title challenge ends here and cup exit to follow. I'm guessing this is just down to bad luck?
Understand you have to have limits etc and injuries but to basically lose it all in one week right in the crunch period of the season is really really frustrating. |

| If this has happened to everyone else then fair enough, it is the game. Not many of my next opponents seem to have injuries and no managers have spoken up on here regarding number of injuries.
Has everyone had plenty of injuries this week? |
