I'm a bit late starting ( Oncology yesterday - all is going well ) so things might be a bit later this week...

Final week of the season - the main things for me is Independiente and only a win will do to lift the title...

Otherwise 2 teams setup with new tactics ready for next season and Twente continue as is...

WATFORD

The manager is disappointed to dropped so many points as of late. While being 3 points off the top of the league doesn’t sound like a terrible position. 3 teams are above Watford. And the likelyhood they all lose and Watford win by a 3 goal margin. Probably a little to far.
So the manager has switched things back to PEP. Maddison stays in the team at DR, Paqueta joins the starting XI. Only future change will be Sane to come in at RW. Saliba comes in at CR to partner Gabriel.
The fans have enjoyed this season picking up silverware in the CUP. Hopefully the manager can have more success next season in Champions League after being knocked out by Ajax and more consistant in the league. 8 Draws is what has hampered the side. So what can the manager do to be more clinical?
 
 

GENK

Genk have been sensational as of late and managed to secure the league before the end of the season. The side have managed to go the season unbeaten so far this season and hope to make it the entire season with just one more game left.
Tchouameni is the only change to the side who looks to form a partnership with Camavinga ahead of next season.
Charles De Ketelaere has been phenomenal since the change in formation, having scored a hatrick in each game. Hopefully he can keep the form up into next season as the side look to build on the Double this season!
 
 

LEVERKUSEN

The side have managed to make the lofty heights of 5^th in the league … 21 points behind top of the table. Shocking. However, a European trophy in the cabinet this season and a second cup final and a narrow defeat on pens is much needed progress.
Fans were curious to the managers  plans after selling Nkunku last week.. In comes Joao Felix and Antonio Rudiger. 9Defeats for Leverkusen… nearly half of the games this season have left the fans in uproar.
 
 

BOTAFOGO

Sensational season from the Rio side, League and CUP winners. Fresh of the Youth Cup victory, Endrick has been promoted to the senior side. Something the manager has resisted so far this season. Comes into the side at LW, hopefully gets to build his first XI experience and develop himself within the senior side.
More of the same? The manager isnt looking to make any changes to the side that has performed so well. Hopefully end the season with a bang and start preparations for next season and get the players up to speed.

Well here we are again, week 22.  Another season comes to a close and it has been as enjoyable as always.

Charlton reach another final week with a shot at the title, maybe the 6th or 7th time.  This time it is in our own hands, if we manage to get a win it doesn't matter what the other results are.  However.....we have been here before and the fans are dreading another final day of heartbreak.  A tough game awaits away to Chelsea, which normally would be a really tough game but even more so today with so much riding on it.
Unsure what to expect from a Chelsea side going through some recent changes.  Season 32 still gives me nightmares, win needed on the final day, at home to Chelsea and I think I was 4 down within half an hour.

Nantes in a similar position, if they manage to claim a win then the title should be won barring a cricket score Paris win. Delighted to be in this position after a season of transition, complete change of formation at the beginning took some getting used to by the players but recent games have shown that they seem to be understanding the new system.  It was hard going at the start and we were stumbling through games it seemed, yet here we are week 22 and still unbeaten.  Incredible season by Paris has meant the race goes right to the wire, may only be goal difference that separates us come the final whistle!

Wolfsburg continue to amaze me, a great win last week against a tough Bayern outfit despite a few changes seeing the old guard out and a few new players coming in, including a new centre back pairing which always worries me.  Nice to be able to get a few games in before the end of the season to try and get settled asap.

Fluminense nothing to play for really but again a few tweaks to try and get the balance right all in preparation for next season

I was just saying that last night was dissapointing for some of us on here so hoping today brings happier times!

Plymouth and Atletico confirm their respective tactics for next season - both playing variations on FLY so need to see how they get on. Both have great TM and DY/PM so hopefully can get it to work.

Independiente is the big game this week for the PIAT group - the team chasing the title!
