Rapid secured their seventh title win with a stroll against Bregenz this week which kept Innsbruck back in second making seven titles in total for the champions. Arch rivals Innsbruck and Vienna pushed them all the way... |

Independente 58 +56 CHAMPIONS Estudiantes 53 +45 Boca 51 +44 Velez 41 +38 Argentinos 32 +18
Ben secured a rare honour this week as his Independente side completed their THIRD Argentine DOUBLE success winning both League and Cup for the third season on the bounce, amongst some very stiff opposition. His success is unprecedented in this part of the world as not even the hugely successful Rob Wilson was Boca manager has anybody ever come close to achieving the same thing... Still missing the major continental trophy though unlike my namesake! |

Genk 64 +76 CHAMPIONS Mechelen 57 +39 Bruges 53 +38 Liege 46 +62 Anderlecht 39 +17
Genk triumph again in what again is a very competitive league as they win the title for the seventh time under Phil and they did it in style and never really looked in danger once Mechelen had run out of steam towards the end of the season. Can little Genk persuade the boss to stay or will he be whisked away by one of the giant clubs like AC Milan... |

Charlton 44 +25 CHAMPIONS Man City 44 +11 Watford 41 +22 Arsenal 41 +16 Villa 38 +6
Charlton get their first title win over the line following high drama in their last game of the season at Stamford Bridge. It was always on the cards once Kane, Salah, Saka and Bellingham had got to know each other, with Thiago and Fabinho superb in midfield and one of the best defences in the world with Van Dijk superb all year, it probably would have been a traversty had they not finished top. Congratulations to Tom.
Commiserations to last season's Champions Manchester City who just lost a step when they signed Tony Grealish and Julian Alvarez but i'm sure they will be challenging again next season.
And an honorable mention for third placed Watford who didn't lose to the top two all season and they lifted the FA Cup as well.
Thanks to everyone for making this season so exciting... Tom currently 7 beers in running round the streets of West Bridgford with a Charlton scarf screaming ‘I’m better than Klopp’. It’s why he’s gone quiet. |

Bate 53 +26 CHAMPIONS Minsk 48 +33 unmanaged Smena 45 +23 unmanaged Brest 38 +12 unmanaged
Bate finished top this season to secure their fourth title success and their second under Gary to add to their Cup success earlier in the season. Is there anything left for Gary to achieve in this league or will he be tempted away to one of the super clubs in Italy all desperate for new managers at the moment... |

Botafogo have been Champions for a few weeks already securing what turned out to be an easy victory despite stiff competition from other clubs in the division, they were just too good. It's Phil's second league title and he adds it to his plethora of ten cup wins... |

Blackpool 46 +34 Derby 40 +20 Stoke 38 +13 ------ Tranmere 37 +11 Torquay 33 -8 Wigan 31 +3 unmanaged
Blackpool one time Juventus feeder club triumph but whether they will survive in the better league will no doubt depend on the quality of their recruits, Derby and Stoke should have no problems going up... |

Nantes 60 +61 CHAMPIONS Paris 60 +50 Etienne 49 +44 Bordeaux 36 +10 Monaco 36 -4
Nantes retain their title after a really close nail biting runin against Paris giving Tom his second title triumph of the season. Paris were so close to breaking the Nantes stranglehold but just lacked a few goals here and there and Etienne faded badly after a stellar start... |

Not much to beat but you still gotta do it and Rennais have risen from the depths of the third division to France's top league and will prove tough opponents next season with what is a very young squad. Yet another triumphant season for Rob... |

Wolfsburg 58 +53 CHAMPIONS Schalke 49 +43 Hannover 49 +19 Karlsruhe 38 +19 Leverkusen 37 +16
Wolfsburg fans have never had it so good as their side retain their league title under stiff competition from the chasing pack, but none came close this time round allowing Tom to add a third league title to this season's collection and surely he can NO LONGER be called "Unlucky Tom" by the away end fans... |

Gornik 61 +57 CHAMPIONS Lubin 55 +69 Wisla 50 +62 Warsaw 45 +35 unmanaged

Porto 57 +32 CHAMPIONS Benfica 56 +72 Braga 45 +34 Lisbon 42 +27 Boavista 36 +9

Barcelona 61 +56 CHAMPIONS Real Madrid 58 +40 Atletico 46 +29 Betis 39 +24 Valencia 35 +8
Everyone knows how good Barcelona are and a bit of a canter to this season's Spanish title proves just how good they can be on their day. Real are being called the "Old Man" by away fans and Atletico need to find some consistency before they can both challenge but until then pundits expect Barca to continue to add to their SEVENTEEN league titles especially if Rob stays in control... |

Stockholm 47 +40 CHAMPIONS Malmo 47 +21 unmanaged Djurgardens 43 +18 unmanaged Elfsborg 40 +18 unmanaged Gothenburg 39 +15
This was a very close title race for a long time with Stockholm triumphing in the end deservedly. But the future of this league is uncertain following the resignation at the end of this week of the "Brothers Grimm" from Malmo Djur and Elfsborg respectively. Hopefully I can persuade at least one new manager to Malmo to keep this league competitive... |

Success for Zurich by a clear and substantial margin as well as an unbeaten league record which included just two draws was very impressive and completed the Swiss Double for the first time in the club's history. Next season fans will be looking for success in europe for sure... |
