Kolarov has started very well against Valencia and the flying winger has had no chance to shine yet. Ron Vlaar has started very well against Robben as well but Zabaleta seems to have the beating of Lucas in the midfield so the first few minutes were very even.

Then we saw the first flash of Tevez magic who found Kolarov whose shot was deflected out for a corner by a very relieved and lucky Carasso. Jagielka had no trouble dealing with the resulting corner.

Jagielka's pass out found Sandro who put Valencia through who beat several players and his cross found Robben whose shot was well saved by Tim Howard in the Charlton goal.

so its been pretty even so far.

Feyenoord have taken an expected lead at home to Groningen on 12 minutes through Jeremain Lens.
